CALLING ALL NERDS! This is by far one of the best times of the year, where kids and adults alike, get to see their favourite super heroes or villians come to life for a full 3 days.

Toronto ComiCon was a great success and featured some of pop cultures finest, including Batman, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Austin Powers, Star Wars and Legocharacters. Yes, life size Lego characters. Various booths were set up in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre filled with comic books, costumes and beloved plush toys.

Fans lined up to meet their celebrity heroes, including Orphan Black, Napoleon Dynamite, and the hobbits from The Lord of The Rings.
While these guests had some pretty awesome costumes, I opted for a unique burlesque number. I mean, I didn’t want to be cliche and just look like everyone else… Okay, I had nothing. It was the only outfit I could create straight from my closet. But hey, it was still fun.
