Glitz and Graffiti was the theme for this year’s 14th annual Motion Ball Gala, which took place at the elegant Liberty Grand in downtown Toronto. Young professionals gathered to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Canada and introduced the next generation of supporters to the Special Olympics movement.
The venue was slammed with about 2,500 guests, including the Special Olympics athletes. A mix of street art and fine art were both up for grabs during a silent auction, and By Peter And Paul’s provided an endless supply of delicious hors d’oeuvres.
The night certainly had something for everyone. Live performances kicked off the evening in the “Glitz“ room, while DJ’s were spinning the latest tracks in the “Graffiti” room. Some of the entertainment included The Running Red Lights, Andria Simone, DJ Skratch Bastid and DJ Dopey.
The Motion Ball’s fundraising total is over $5,000,000 to date.
