CHUM FM Fan Fest returned again this year with a primarily Canadian line-up. As the official closing for Canadian Music Week, the concert concluded the week with a big bang.
This years performers included: Francesco Yates, Shawn Hook, Trevor Guthrie, Colbie Caillat, Lights, Kiesza, and MAGIC!
The night started off strong and got even more electric with each concert that passed.
Colbie Caillat brought her soothing voice and had the crowd going nostalgic when she performed her classic “Bubbly” which she addressed as the single that started a great journey for her.
Lights stepped onto the stage ready to rock the crowd and played her hits “Up We Go” and “Drive My Soul.”
One of the most entertaining performances of the night came from Kiesza, who brought out her back-up dancers and belted out every note while jumping and dancing with the crowd. She had fans grooving to her hit “Take You There” which was a collaboration with Diplo and Skrillex, as well as her smash hit “Hideaway.”
The night closed with with reggae-pop band MAGIC! who’s island sounds were the perfect way to end the week and get everyone ready for the weekend and many after parties that followed. The band performed all crowd pleasing singles, including “No Way No” and “Rude.”
