Celebrities Come Together For The Annual Karaoke BFF Gala

When you throw a party and have all of your best friends come out, it’s a wonderful feeling. Now, imagine that your best friends happen to be some the biggest celebrities in the world and that this party will help raise funds for under privileged children and their families.

This was the case for Bryan and Sarah Baeumlar, as they hosted the third annual Baeumler Family Foundation Celebrity Karaoke Gala at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto.

Guests were treated to an evening of cocktails, dinner, and a silent auction which was followed by a fun and interactive session of karaoke. VIP attendants had a chance to bid on their favourite celebrity to sing live on stage. Oh yes, that included Sarah and Bryan themselves.

Host Carla Hernandez covered the red carpet for the star-studded event, which featured the likes of ‘Lost Girl‘ actors Paul Amos and Kris Holden-Reid, ‘Million Dollar Contractor‘ TV personality, Stephen Fanuka and Joel Zimmerman a.k.a. Deadmau5.

The stars talk about the importance of the gala and how they feel about the karaoke night (some had no idea they even had to sing.)

“We created ‘Baeumler Family Foundation‘ to provide home renovations for children and families in need of accessibility, safety and security in order to create a nurturing and positive environment in the home,” said Bryan Baeumler, co-founder of BFF Gala, and TV personality of various HGTV shows including ‘House of Bryan‘ and ‘Leave it to Bryan.’

Other notable guests who attended the event include HGTV’s Mike Holmes, singer Danny Fernandes, TV personality Ben Mulroney, and actress Gabrielle Miller.

“This cause is near and dear to our hearts and we appreciate the support of so many talented individuals, who along with our incredible silent auction items, make the event so fun and successful,” said Sarah Baeumler, co-founder and chair of the BFF Gala.

The foundation’s goal is to raise $5 million by 2020, and judging by the successful outcome of the third year, the chances of them reaching their goal is looking very good.
