The TIFF Bell Lightbox held it’s annual Boombox event and paid a massive tribute to one of the most influential artists of the 21st century, Andy Warhol.

The exhibition explored the artist’s fascination with fame and stardom. Toronto filmmakers and artists were asked to create original, Warhol-inspired installations. This included Toronto’s own Director x, who premiered his video titled ‘Everyone will be famous for 15 seconds’ and featured some of social media’s most dominant personalities.

M5 host, Carla Hernandez, had a chance with the hosts of the evening, Kardinal Offishall and DJ Starting From Scratch.
