The Artist Project celebrated it’s 9th year at the Better Living Centre. The contemporary art fair celebrates the brilliant work of over 250 artists from all around Canada and abroad.
The event provided an opportunity for gallerists, curators, and visitors to get to know each artist personally and buy the art directly from the artist.
The art displayed consisted of a mix of the following styles: Sculptures, photography, pastel, oil/acrylic, drawings, digital media, and many more.
Over 5000 pieces of art were displayed all around the venue, leaving visitors entertained with each booth they would walk into.
A portion of the ticket sales went to the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto, which runs creative therapy programs to support caregivers and people living with dementia.
Some major sponsors of the event included: CIBC, DeSerres, and Art Moi. Food and drinks for the opening evening were provided by Quesada, Steam Whistle, Strongbow, Aria, Fit Organix, Tabule and many more.
